Questions, corrections, and suggestions are all welcome — corrections most of all. If a fee changed, a deadline moved, or your state's rule doesn't match what an article says, I want to know, and fixes run fast.
Email is the whole system here. Write to:
A few notes so your message lands well:
- Corrections: include the article link and, if you have it, a link to the official source showing the current rule. Corrections are credited in the article's update note unless you'd rather stay anonymous.
- Topic requests: one or two sentences about the process you wish someone had explained to you. That's exactly the queue this site is built from.
- Press or reuse: say what you'd like to quote and where it'll appear.
One thing this inbox can't do: give legal advice. I'm not a lawyer, and even if I were, advising strangers by email wouldn't be responsible. If you write describing a personal legal situation, I'll point you to the official resources for your state — usually your state bar's lawyer referral service or a legal aid organization; the Legal Disclaimer lists them. For anything with a deadline attached, please don't wait on an email reply from anyone — deadlines in legal processes are unforgiving, and a licensed attorney in your state is the right call.
Replies usually go out within a few business days.
